The Kangxi Emperor was born 4th May 1654 A.D. and died #onthisday 20th December 1722 A.D.
He was the fourth emperor of the Qing Dynasty and the first to be step foot on chinese soil, of the southern area of Shanhai Pass.
Kangx’si reign was 61 years and regarded as the longest running emperor in Chinese history. Considered to be one of the greatest emperors in China’s history. He was able to suppress the revolt of the three feudatories, forced the Kingdom of Tunging in Taiwan. Then supressed the Mongol rebels in the north who submitted to the Qing Rule and then blocked the Tsarist Russia.
His reign brought long-term stability and great wealth, after many years of war and chaos.
