Antonio Stradivari was born in the year 1644 A.D. and died #onthisday 18th December 1737 A.D. He was an Italian luthier who was also a craftier of string instruments, such as Cellos, Guitars, Violins, and Harps.
Antonio was regarded as one of the most important and greatest artisans in the field.
Stradivarius was referred to as “Strad” and this name was often used as his musical instruments his name. There was an estimate about producing 1,116 instruments of which were, 960, and around 650 instruments have survived are included 450-512 violins. His instruments are regarded as some of the best-bowed instruments ever created, at the time when they were at their height. Many instruments with the name are still played by professionals today.
