The Yongzheng Emperor was born #onthisday 13th December 1678 A.D. and died on 8th October. He was the fifth emperor of the Manchurian Dynasty and the third Qing emperor to rule over China in a real manor.

Yongzheng ruled from 1723-35 A.D. he was regarded as a hard-working ruler, and his goal was to create an effective government with minimal expense of money. He was like his father, in that Yongzheng used military force to keep his dynasty strong and stable. Remembered as an efficient, despotic and vigorous leader.

His rule was less than that of his father and son, but it was regarded as a peaceful and prosperous one because, he cracked down on corruption and reformed the administration.
