Jean Parisot de Valette was born 4th February 1495 A.D. and died #onthisday 21st August 1568 A.D. in Malta.
He was a French nobleman and also the 49th Grand Master of order of Malta from 21st August 1557 A.D. until his death in 1568 A.D.
Jean was a Knight Hospitaller which he joined the order of Langue de Provence with a direction to fight against the Turks at Rhodes. He was a Grand Master of the order which became the order of hero’s and their greatest Leader, commanding great resistances against the Ottomans at the Great Siege of Malta in 1565 A.D. This was sometimes regarded as one of the greatest sieges of all time.
