Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born 18th February 1836 A.D. and died #onthisday 16th August 1886 A.D. He was an Indian mystic and Yogi during the 19th century.

Ramakrishna was given sportuals estcaies at a young age and also had been influenced by several religious traditions, including devotion toward the goddess known as Kali, Tantra, Advaita Vendanta and Vaishnava.

There was much admiration and reverence for him from the Bengali elites they led to a formation of Ramakrishna Mission by his chief disciple at the time as Swami Vivekananda.
