Frederick William III was born 3rd August 1770 A.D. and died 7th June 1840 A.D. He was a king of Prussia from 1797-1840 A.D. Frederick William ruled Prussia during hard times due to the Napoleonic wars and the end of the Holy Roman Empire. The war made him steer a careful course between France. After a major blow and a military lose in 1806 A.D. he even joins the coalition against Napoleon in Befreiungskriege.

The defeat of Napoleon made sure he was crowned the king of Prussia during the congress of Vienna and able to settle some political issues arising from the new post-Napoleonic order in Europe.

The long term of goal was fully centralized by the royal control of all protestant churches and the Prussian union of churches.
