Emperor Taizu of Jin was born August 1st, 1068 A.D. and died September 19th 1123 A.D.

Taizu of Jin was the chieftain of the Wanyan tribe, his influence over the Jurchen tribes who were the subjects of the Khitan-led Liao dynasty. In the year of 1114 A.D. he united the Jurchen tribes under his rule and rebelled against the Liao dynasty.

A year later he declared himself emperor and established Jin dynasty which ruled Northern China between the 12-13th centuries.
