Ahmed Vefik Pasha was born #onthisday 3rd July 1823 A.D. in Constantinople and died in 1891 A.D. He was an Ottoman statesman, playwright, diplomat and a translator of the Tanzimat and the first constitutional period.
Ahmed was a commissioned top-rank government duty, such as the including in the first Ottoman Parliament 1877A.D.
He even manages to serve as grand vizier briefly. One most notable achievement he established the first Ottoman theater and instances western style theaters in Bursa and translated Moliere’s major works.
