Nicolas-Claude Fabri de Peiresc was born 1st December 1580 A.D. and died 24th June 1637 A.D. He was a French astronomer,  antiquary, and savant.

He maintained and kept the wide correspondence between the scientist and the success in scientific fields.

This was an important part of the determination of research between the longitude and latitude of the various locations in the European, Mediterranean and North African areas.
