Oda Nobunaga was born #onthisday in history 23rd  June 1534 A.D. and died June 21st 1582 A.D. He was the a powerful Daimyo of Japan during the 16th century, he attempted to unify Japan during the late Sengoku Period.

Oda was regarded as one of the three unifiers and builders of Japan along with his subordinates Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. In the later part of his life he was remembered for being a brutal suppressor against his opponents and even eliminated those who either refused to cooperate or accept his demands.

Even moreso he was a great ruler and an interesting businessman, an economic reformer on both the micro and macroeconomic scales.
