Sanda Yukimura was born in the year 1567 A.D. and died #onthisday in history, 3rd June 1615 A.D.

He was a Japanese Samurai warrior during the time of Sengoku Period. Sanda was remembered for leading as a general in the defending of Osaka during the “Siege of Osaka”.

Yukimura was remembered “As a Hero who may appear once in a hundred years”.

The famed warrior was a veteran of the invasion of Korea, Shimazu Tadatsune called him the “Number one warrior in Japan”.
