Blanche of Burgundy was born in 1296 A.D. and died #onthisday 29th April 1326 A.D. she was the Queen of France and Navarre only for a few months in 1322 A.D. because of her marriage to King Charles IV the Fair.

She was the daughter of Count Otto IV of Burgundy and Countess Mahaut of Artiois. Blanche had a devastating marriage because of her mother’s ambitions. A fun fact to mention eight years before her husband even became king she was arrested and found guilty for Adultery with a Norman Knight at the time. So did her sister in law know as Margaret of Burgundy which who had the same fate and while her sister known as Joan was free.

Some time before Blanche was in prison before she even became queen and moved to the coast of Normandy.
