Alexander “Alick” Joy Cartwright JR was born onthisday in April 17th 1820 A.D. and died July 12th 1892 A.D. he was remembered as the Father of Baseball.

The rules of the modern game was to be based on the Knickerbocker Rule which was developed and reaserch by Cartwright and the commit for the club the Knight Base Ball Club.

In 1845 A.D. this was disputed.There was a myth surrounding Abner Doubleday who invented baseball but later was debunked, then Cartwright was commemorated into the National baseball hall of fame as a pioneering contributor 46 years after his death. it was officially delayed that Cartwright was declared the modern day sport of Baseball in June 3rd 1953 A.D. by the 83rd United states Congress.
