Anne of France was born #onthisday 3rd April 1461 A.D. and died 14th November 1522 A.D. she was the eldest daughter of Louis XI by his second wife Charlotte of Savoy.

She was also the sister of Charles VIII whom she was regent during his minority. Anne during the regency was one of the most powerful women in Europe and the 15th century. Anne was giving her support to Henry Tudor against his rival King Richard III of England. She also made the final treaty at the ending of the Hundreds Years’ War with the “Treaty of Etaples”.
