Nicephore Niepce was born #onthisday on 7th March in 1765 A.D. and died 5th of July 1833 A.D. He was a French inventor usually credited for the invention of Photography and a pioneer within that field.

He also developed heliography which was an invention used to the create the world’s oldest surviving product of a photographic process a print made from a Photo engraved plate in 1825 A.D.

In the year of 1826-27 A.D. he used a historical camera which was used to produce the oldest surviving photograph of a real scene.
