Bona Sforza was born 2nd February 1494 A.D. and died #onthisday in history 19th November 1557 A.D.
A member of the powerful house of Sforza which ruled the Dutch Milan since 1447 A.D.
In the year 1418 A.D. she married and became the second wife of Sigismund I the Old, who was a Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland. Their marriage lasted for 30 years until Sigimunds death in 1458 A.D. Her characteristics was energetic and ambitious to the bone Bona was heavily involved in the day to day political life between Poland-Lithuania. Sforza set up and started to increase state revenues and establish various agricultural and economical reforms, which include the Wallach Reform in Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Her reforms made her one of the richest landowners in Grand Duchy.
