Alfonso II was born #onthisday in history 4th November and died in 18th December 1495 A.D. he was also known as Alfonso of Aragon, King of Naples from 25th January 1494- 22 A.D.

He was the Duke of Calabria as a patron of Renaissance poets and buildings as the heir of the throne of Naples. Alfonso was a condottiere, when he fought vital wars of the age such as Pazzi conspiracy in 1478-1480 A.D. and in war of Ferrara 1482-84 A.D. He ruled very shortly.
