Stefan Uros II Milutin was born in 1253 A.D. and died #onthisday in history 29th October 1321 A.D. he was the King of Serbia between 1282 A.D. – 1321 A.D. he was member of Nemanjic dynasty. One of the most powerful rulers of Serbia. Miliutin was credited for the strong resistance against the Byzantine Empire, Michael VIII Palaiologos which was imposed in Roman Catholicism in the Balkans with the Union of Lyons 1274 A.D.

Out of most of the Nemanjic monarchs he was proclaimed a saint by the Serbian Orthodox church with a feast on October 30th.
