#Onthisday in history the Portugal crisis took places was known as the 1383-85 A.D. the Portuguese interregnum was a time of a civil war in Portuguese history when no Crowned king reigned. The reason was due to King Ferdinand I death without an heir and end up with King John I being crowned as King in 1385 A.D. after his victory at Battle of Aljubattaora.

The Portuguese in history interpret this as the earliest resistance to the movement of countering the Castillian intervention.
