#Onthisday in history Peter I of Cyprus born 9th October 1328 A.D. in Nicosia and died 17th January 1369 A.D. in the palace of La Cava, he was the king of Cyprus and King of Jerusalem from when his father abdicated on 1358 A.D. until his own death of 1369 A.D.

Later a king of Latin Armenia 1361 A.D . he was seen as the greatest King of Cyprus on a military basis, where he had great success. Peter couldn’t finish his plans due to the internal problems and he was assassinated by hand of his three own Knights.
