Giles de Binche was born in 1400 A.D. and died #onthisday in history 20th September 1460 A.D. He was a Netherlands composer one of the earliest of the Burgundian School one of the three most famous composers in the 15th century. He was often ranked behind his contemporaries at the time known as Guillaume Dufay and John Dunstable, by the scholars.

Giles’ work was often seen as the finest melodic composer in 15th century, he wrote his work very carefully and the shape of lines, was not easy to sing but was mind-blowing! His tunes appeared in many different copies after his death from decades on-wards.
