Flavius Dalmatius died in the year of 337 A.D. and he was Caesar from 335-337 A.D. of the Roman Empire and he was from the “Constantinian Dynasty”. He was the son of another Flavius Dalmatius, censor and the nephew of Constantine I, Dalmatius and his brother were both educated at Tolosa in France.

#Onthisday in history of 18th September 335 A.D. he was raised to the level of Caesar with the control of Achaea, Thracia and Macedonia. He died in the late summer, killed by his own solider in 337 A.D.. The death of Dalmatia’s maybe related to the imperial family at the death of Constantine which had been organised by Constantius II aiming to take control of the throne and any other claimant.
