The death of Flavius Eugenius #onthisday in history 6th September 394 A.D. he was a usurper of the Western Roman Emperor from 392-94 A.D. Flavius rose against the emperor Theo I. Flavius thought himself a Christian but he was the last one, seen to support the Roman Polytheism.

When he was installed as emperor, he changed the Imperial structure and administrators. When he left his throne of the Western Roman Empire to Valentinian II, he had put his own men at the highest level of office to have a strong and powerful grip on the empire.
