Edmund Dudley was born in 1462 A.D. and died on the 17th August 1510 A.D. #onthisday he was an administrator and a financial agent of King Henry VII. Dudley served as a speaker of the house of commons and the president of the king’s council. After the reign of Henry VIII he was imprisoned in the tower of London and executed. He was charged with treason the following year. He wrote a letter known as “The tree of Commonwealth” before his death.
