#Onthisday in history Lady Anne Neville was born, 11th June 1456 A.D. and died in March 1485 A.D. she was an English queen, and the daughter of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, who was also known as the King Maker. She became the princess of Wales after marrying Edward of Westminster and then queen of England when she was the wed to Richard III after the death of Edward.

She was a member of the house of Neville, and she played a vital role in the wars of the roses, because it was between the House of York and House of Lancaster for the English Crown. The marriage which was to seal an alliance between the House of Lancaster and the continuation in civil war, between the houses of Lancaster and York.
