#Onthisday Lady Margaret Beaufort was born in history on 31th May 1443.AD and she died 29th June 1509 A.D. she was the mother of the famous king Henry VII and the Paternal grandmother of King Henry VIII of England. Her legacy was very important because she was a vital figure in the war of the roses, and was also an Influential matriarch of the house of Tudor. She has been credited as the establishment of the two great Cambridge colleges, such as the Christ’s Colleges in 1505 A.D. and the development of St Johns college, which was completed later by her posthumous her executors 1551 A.D.
