#Onthisday in history 3rd May 752 A.D. A Mayan king Known as “Bird Jaguar IV” of Yaxchilan which was in Modern day Mexico and assumes the throne.

He ruled from the years of 752 A.D. until 768 A.D. this was a year of great Prosperity and cultural enrichment that was started by his father “Itzamnaaj B’alam II”.  Yaxun B’alam IV” had to maintain a hold on to the power because, because he was not seen as a the rightful heir to the throne.

Itzamnaaj B’alam commissioned a stele which was a depiction and showed Yaxun B’alam and Lady Xoc which show same panels.
