27th March 47 A.D. the birth of Publis Papinus Statius who was a roman poet in the 1st century and was known as the “silver age of Latin literature” Publis died in the year 96 A.D. Upon the fragments of surviving latin poetry, there were pieces of twelve books, which were Thebaid a collection of poems. and the silvae was an unfinished epic. The Achillied, however he was also known for the appearance guide of the “purgatory” of the section of Dante epic poem known as “The divine Comedy”.

As a poet he was very talented and versatile, because his abilities were able to present as a “otius,”. He was taught by his father, Statius who also had a style of poetry, similar to classical literature, which was described as such “elaborate and Mannerist.”
