Born #onthisday in #history 1564 – Galileo Galilei, 15 February 1564 was a Italian astronomer and physicist, engineer, philosopher, astronomer and mathematician, he play a major part in the scientific revolution which was during the renaissance period. Galileo was dubbed the “father of observational astronomy” or “father of modern physics” and evidentially “father of science”
His contribution has been ground breaking such as the observation which includes the telescopic of the confirmation of the phases of Venus, and discovery of four largest satellites of Jupiter, which was named after (Galilean Moons in his honour). He also worked on great improvements of science and technology, which also advancement of the compass, military tools.

Galileo is the championing of Heliocentrisim and corpeniciam which was lead through out his life as a controversial.. But when he subscribed to geocentrism or the Tychonic system
This is only short piece of his life, his work still continues shape our world of thinking.
